What's New On Ithaca Greece

Friday 11th - Above - When there's wind, Afales bay churns up the sand at the bottom of the sea and explodes with this vibrant aqua colour. Yesterday, the heatwave we've all been scorching under, finally broke. A cool wind blew away much of the heat mist that obscurred the other islands and Mainland Greece from view.
Above - In Vathy, yachts and boats were tumbled around by an increasingly choppy bay.

Summer on Ithaca
Friday 11th
Vathy in the morning is a time for locals to meet at the various cafes around the village square. It's also a time the yachts prepare to venture to the next location, but not before stocking up and maybe having a last quick look around the town.
