Saturday 11th
Below - Afrodite and Katy. Kanenas Restaurant in Stavros has cooking classes with Katy. Informative and traditional methods of Greek kitchen and ingredients. All welcome!
Below - Paint the Lyric is back this year with some amazing artists works displayed in both Vathy and in Kioni.
Tuesday 14th - We had some rain and some cloudy days, but it's fining up again.

Wednesday 15th - A pleasant 26C. Perfect.
Friday 17th - Starting to warm up again with 36C forecast on the weekend. Looks like Summer isn't finished with us yet, despite some rainy days earlier this week.
Above - Paul and Mel have been coming to Ithaca for too many summers to mention. They sail in and sail out, but they're always in our thoughts.

Sunday 19th - Hot, sometimes steamy, definitely still beach weather with sultry evenings along the bay under a fullish moon.
Above - Forkys Bay in the south of Ithaca. Below - when the ferry doesn't run, this is a life saving option, but it's also great just to sea-trip around our part of the Ionian for some fun. Odysseas Sea Taxi.

Vacation on Ithaca Greece
Saturday 11th
A little cooler yesterday, but the cloud cover is gone with more sunshiney days ahead. Still lots of yachts and people on the island .
Tuesday 14th - Below - Raxi.
Wednesday 15th - Ithaca doesn't get too many Autumn colours. The island stays pretty green all year round, except for some Summer sunburn.
Friday 17th - Earlier in the week we had quite a bit of rain and it seemed that Summer had come to an abrupt end, but now, with high temps again, Summer continues as it always has through September.
Sunday 19th - Below - It's lunch time on Ithaca. If you've been, you'll know lunch can take hours.
