Monday 21st
Everyone's loving the 3 day weekend, but tomorrow it's back to work for Athenians who may sneak in an extra day on Ithaki...and why not. Below - Frikes at sunrise.

Wednesday 23rd - Below - The 3 windmills mark the wayfaring entrance to Kioni
Above - Stavros park area's old pines were hit hard last September with the medicane, only a couple remain, and they're worse for where. Still, if looking for the silver lining, Polis Bay below can be seen much easier now.
Above - Works on the Aetos road continue.
Saturday 26th - It's hot. Summer has hit with a vengeance.
Sunday 27th - The island is still pretty quiet except for some yachting action during the weekdays.

Summer on Ithaca Greece
Monday 21st
It's starting to get hot now. The temperature is rising and everything feels like Summer now.

Wednesday 23rd - The Stavros Pharmacy (Andrianatos) isn't just any pharmacy. Owner, Andronikos Andrianatos, is a good first place of call when seeking medical information. It may also be good to know that his wife, Anastasia, is a doctor on the island who has garnished the trust of both locals and visitors over the years.
Although Spring is officially over, there are still lots of flowers in bloom and hanging from the gardens of green fingered locals.
With no illness of C on the island, it's a great place to take a breather from all the fear and stress around this virus. If you can't remember what enjoyment, good company and laughter in public feel like, then maybe you should try coming to Ithaca. It all feels alot better here.
Saturday 26th - Nearly the end of another month as we inch through Summer and this very weird season.

Sunday 27th - There's no doubting it's Summer now. Temperatures soaring to the thirties. Below - Raxi views. This often forgotten village has some of the best views and some original buildings, making for a picturesque interlude from the beach. Visit the Cafenion. You can't miss it. It's a golden yellow/orange.
Above - Magic Johnson visited Ithaca today and had the locals out all getting selfies with him. He was kind and obliging and had no security keeping mere mortals at bay. A fun shot in the arm for many Ithacans.
