What's New On Ithaca Greece
January 2024
Monday 15th - Some sunshine, some clouds and a familiar winter chill starts off the week.
Above - A wide view down onto Platrithia and northern Ithaca with Atokos island and the Mainland in the distance.
Wednesday 17th - Some rainy days with more ahead, but also some high temps that belong in September not January.
Friday 19th - Who would believe it's winter with a temperature of 19C yesterday and a top of 18 C for today. It's been a weird weather start to 2024 for sure.
Wednesday 24th - Chilly days. Feels very quiet on the island. Below - Exoghi road
Saturday 27th - Not much to say, some days are beautiful, others are grey and rainy.
Sunday 28th - Beautiful days on Ithaca Greece. One day chilli and wet, next day sunny and warm...ish.
Wednesday 31st - So here we are at the end of another month. Lots will be happening in February with Carnival, Kathara Deftera and I'm sure lots of pre-carnival parties.

Monday 15th
I hope everyone's new year is starting off with good health, enthusiasm and hope.
Wednesday 17th
Friday 19th - While much of northern Europe is under snow, here we're almost sunbaking. Winter life on ithaca greece.
Wednesday 24th - Already heading to the end of January. Rushing into the future.
Saturday 27th - Wishing everyone a lovely weekend for this final weekend of January.
Sunday 28th - Finally the road between Frikes and Kioni is being repaired. It's been quite awhile since Yianos hit northern Ithaki, leaving some places on the road unsafe.
Above - The beacon of Exoghi, Ag. Marina church also needs some reparations and love.
