| Wednesday 1st - Ag. Ioannis is beautiful whether Summer or Winter.

| Friday 17th - With sunshine and people out and about, it feels like the depth of winter is just about over. Yesterday, Ithaca celebrated Tsiknopempti with grilling over the island. Click Here or on image below for more pics.
| Monday 20th - Saturday night the annual Forky's Carnival Party revved up the night. Good vibrations with 'live' band and dj Dimos to get the massive crowd to thunder across the dance floor. Click Here or on photo below for more fun pics.
| Tuesday 21st - There is definitely an air of Spring all around. The weather is opening up to let in much more sunshine now. The sun it'self is warm and comforting. The winter this year hasn't been too dark or cold. It's like it hasn't even really started. Below - Vathy behind the Venetian bell tower.
| Sunday 26th - Today it's Carnival time on Ithaca. Lots of pics to come.

| Tuesday 28th - After a very quiet winter, all of a sudden everything comes at once. Pre-Easter is always full of celebration. Yesterday Ithaca celebrated Clean Monday by becoming vegan until Easter Sunday. We headed up to Anoghi and Perahori. Click Here or on photo below for more pics.

Winter time on Ithaki
Tuesday 14th
Thursday marks the last day for the devout to devour meat before Lent, so the island will be out in force eating up Burnt Thursday.
Thursday 16th - Already more than half way through February. Nearly time for Carnival and Kathara Deftera.
PARTY!!!!
Stavros Community Hall on Saturday 25th. Entry 5 euro. Good cause - FUN!
| Friday 17th - It's nearly carnival time, so lots of parties and things happening during this time of the year.
| Tuesday 21st - You wouldn't be blamed for thinking Spring is already here with the almond blossoms decking the island in bloom.
| Sunday 26th - Vathy will be full of colour and costume today with the annual Carnival celebrations.
|Monday 27th - Kathara Deftera today. We'll be heading up to Anoghi, the traditional annual visit and then to Perahori, who this year, is having an afternoon festa for this year's Clean Monday. Pics coming of course.
| Tuesday 28th - The end of another month and very soon visitors will begin to reach our shores again.
