The Philharmonic band played to introduce the parade of school children all dressed up in traditional costume or black and white.
You could tell the kids were super excited about performing their dances for the community, parents and friends. Big, Ithaki FUN!
And the community was super excited about supporting them. They were all amazing! and the kids shared their joy amongst the onlookers.
With the older kids, you could see there was some blossoming talent in the arena of dance.
I love how Ithaki, even with, and almost despite the crisis, it fosters the arts, music and just plane old good fun.
