Let's make a toast to the end of June. |
Let's toast to our health...and life...and love...and being so luck to live on Ithaki...to the roadie who just turned down the PA...to the bass player who got the right note...to the night being warm...to the good local wine...to friends...to family...to the Councilman of Frikes |

They came from Stavros, they came from Lefki, they came from the many villages of Platrithia and also from Kioni, but few came from Vathy. You'd think if they can come from the UK, Australia and the rest of the world, Vathy would coming up too... |

Each year Bemenis Bar takes the crowd that's there to drink and be happy without eating, but at Panighiri time you have no choice of music. The Panighiri band saturates every inch of mountain and sky with its' well known repertoir. Greek tunes that all the locals sing along to each year. |
